Fachklasse II - Graduating Studies (5th. -7th. Semester)25 days of lessons per semester (5th and 7th semester).
In the third year the students are working prior on long-term, individual projects. Teachers support the realization in all phases of working process starting with the choice and formulation of topic, along the working process up to the presentation. At the end of the third year regularly there is an exam or formal statement. Besides a presentation of the final terminated photo project within an exhibition or small book, a written theoretical work is expected in thematic relation to the exams work. In case no thesis will be presented, the school certificates adduced only study results. The lessons in „Digital Technique“ and „History and Theory“ focus intensively in supporting students in their conversion of the final exam during the last year (image editing, layout, printing of exponents, advice on the theoretical work etc.)
In the series „Photographical Practise“ guests are invited regularly to give information about the daily professional live and problems during work routine (business economic, copyright, contract law, finance and funding through grants, competitions or calls) and present possible occupation areas (applied intended photography, reportage or art market). This gives the opportunity of making first contacts for the students.
